Since joining Holcim in 2005, Jim has spent 13 years defining and implementing effective procurement organisations around the globe. Multiple global transformations of the function, including the CHF 40bn merger with Lafarge in 2015, have driven the need for effective organisations with a steady pipeline of well-prepared and skilled employees in over 60 countries. Jim has achieved this by focusing on integrating best practices with local requirements, and effectively driving change management at all levels from the C-suite to the shop floor. Currently, as VP, Head of Projects and Development, Jim drives the organisation’s continuing transformation as well as the deployment of the Global Procurement Academy.
