John Schifano

John Schifano is Director of Global Business Development within Global Commercial Payments, Europe at American Express. The Global Commercial Payments business brings together all of American Express’ business to business payment products and services into one organisation, with a strong value proposition for customers, and a focus on accelerating the growth of B2B payments around the world. Prior to joining American Express, John was Head of B2B Sales for Citibank overseeing B2B payment sales & strategy for the bank across EMEA.  Prior to joining Citi, John spent the first 15 years of his career within various senior procurement roles across a number of different sectors including Defence, Industrials and Publishing & Media.  John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Law. He is married with two sons, and lives with his family in London.
