Shyam Tantry is the Director of Global Procurement for NCR Corporation, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies. 

In this senior management role, Tantry leads an organization that manages approximately USD 500+ Million in supplier spend across 30+ countries worldwide. Procurement organization under Tantry manages a supply base of over 2,000+ suppliers assisting NCR deliver a global solution to customers in multiple industries including financial services, retail, travel, hospitality, telecom & technology, and small business.

Tantry is a highly experience senior executive who has held variety of roles of increasing responsibility across service delivery, account management, outsourcing/offshoring, supply chain and procurement in a career spanning 20+ years. Having worked in India, Australia and Singapore for European and American corporations, Tantry is extremely adapt at managing stakeholders and driving influence and outcomes in a matrix organization.

Currently, TANTRY is board member of NCR Asia Pacific (subsidiary of NCR Corp) and is a member the NCR Asia Pacific leadership team. TANTRY has a strong track record of cost control, operational improvement, profitability, margin improvement and commercial negotiations. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur(India) and Masters in IT and Business Management from University of Technology (UTS), Sydney (Australia). Tantry also certified as International Company Director with Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
